In the CellaTemp® PKF 36, the electronics and measuring head are separate. The infrared radiation is transmitted to the electronics via an optical fibre. The measuring head can be used in ambient temperatures up to 250 °C without cooling. This version can also be used in cramped mounting conditions or high electromagnetic fields. The length of the fibre optics can be up to 50 m.
