The CellaCast PX 83 was specially developed for measuring the temperature of liquid metals on automatic casting machines for plug and ladle casting. When measuring at the automatic pouring machine, the situation is complicated by the fact that the position of the pouring stream can change depending on the outlet or the tilt angle of the ladle. The special feature of the CellaCast PX 83 is the rectangular measuring field. As long as the pouring stream is within the measuring field, a reliable measured value is determined.
